Oh wow has this been going for almost 3 month now? How are you all doing?
This week we are in the dungeons of our home -- the garage and other storage areas. And boy do I need to be doing this here. Our garage has become the dumping ground for the house. We have boxes and bags full of things just stuffed out there. I figure it will take us more than a week to get through it, unless we do it clean house style and take everything out. That may happen it makes for a LONG day, but then it is done.
Holiday Prep
-- Make one batch of Holiday Goodies.
-- Make one extra meal for freezer again labeled HOLIDAY MEAL.
-- Buy two canned food items from menus (get 2 of each item, one to use and one to donate to food drive).
-- Buy 1/8th of TO BUY gifts. Save all receipts, note return policy before buying. Ask for gift boxes.
-- Wrap and label packages. If needing to ship, get some shipping boxes now and store packages in them.
-- Work at least 1 hour a day on homemade gifts.
-- Review and revise menus and other plans.
-- Plan table setting.
-- Plan centerpiece, make as much as possible now (or order it from florist).
-- Reserve any items needed to be borrowed or rented.
-- Get everyone's holiday clothes purchased/cleaned/pressed.
Hope everyone has a great and productive week!

Hi, I found your blog through 'that British woma' and I think I will learn something here!!
I've pretty well completely given up on following the HGP, but I have not given up on the spirit of it! Today I looked around and figured out the things that bugged me most and took care of them. So now the inside of all my windows is clean, the mitten/hat/shoe cabinet by the entry is organized, and my basement is still a mess. Oh well!
